Hamfest
A Hamfest is a half-day event where the public as well as Amateur Radio Operators meet to observe and use Ham radio equipment to make connections with other Ham operators in California, as well as other states and countries.
Features
- A hearty breakfast (the club's annual fund raiser), consisting of pancakes, eggs and sausage
- A Swap Meet with all kinds of new and used amateur radio equipment
- Demonstrations of Fox-hunting (where a person with a handheld radio and special antenna tries to find a hidden radio)
- A VE session where prospective hams can earn their license or current hams can upgrade (reservations required)
- A display of emergency communications vehicles
- ARRL DXCC card checking

Admission
Admission is FREE. There is a charge for breakfast ($10.00 or $8.00) and seller spots ($10.00).

When
The next Hamfest is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 8:00 AM - Noon. Some vendors show up earlier than that. Hope to see you there!
